Senior Contract Administrator

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Contract Administrator who is ready to take the next step in their career.

We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator who will report to the Project Manager and work collaboratively with the project team and other associated partners. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure successful contract administration and management.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract awarding in line with compliance requirements.
  • Oversee contract administration using construction-based software.
  • Ensure full compliance with head contract obligations, including progress claims, forecasting, variations, and reporting.
  • Lead and support CA team resources, including performance management, leave approvals, and goal setting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving contractual issues with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate project close-out, including financial wrap-up, handover documentation, and defect resolution.
  • Administer authority, utility, and DA requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Champion a strong safety, environmental, and quality culture in line with company policies and legislative requirements.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of proven track record experience working for a head contractor.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration and technical construction knowledge on commercial projects of up to $50million+
  • Excellent understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and law.
  • Proficient in Cheops is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills, written and verbal.
