Job Overview

The Banquet Team Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional service standards are met and exceeded. This key position is responsible for leading a team of food and beverage attendants to deliver outstanding customer experiences, while upholding the reputation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage food and beverage service operations efficiently to meet customer expectations.
  2. Supervise and lead a team, focusing on employee engagement, training & development, and operational management.
  3. Cater to VIP and regular guests' needs, responding promptly and professionally to their requests.
  4. Implement systems to protect and maintain control of service equipment and conduct regular stock takes.
  5. Liaise with relevant departments regarding food and beverage distribution.
  6. Address operational problems and customer complaints effectively.
  7. Stay informed about and adhere to outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and house management policies.
  8. Maintain RSA certification currency and adhere to RSA principles.
Requirements:
  1. A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.
  2. Strong leadership skills, with previous experience in leading teams within the hospitality industry.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. An Approved Manager licence would be advantageous.
