Prosthetist/Orthotist Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Prosthetic and Orthotic Department on a 2-year fixed-term basis. As a Grade 1 Clinician, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, working in a state-of-the-art facility with access to advanced CAD/CAM technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, design, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to individual patient needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Provide ongoing adjustments and maintenance of devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice processes and patient care standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent)
  • Membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA)
  • Current driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to cooperate and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt constructively within a busy and dynamic working environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
