About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Speech Pathologists to join our Casual Speech Pathology Bank at Grampians Health. Applications will be considered from Grade 1, 2 and 3 Speech Pathologists with experience working in acute and subacute adult inpatient settings and/or in care communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage acute and subacute adult inpatients
  • Work with people living in care communities
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Commit to regular shifts &/or blocks of time to cover leave
  • Participate in paid, on-site orientation and training

As a Casual Speech Pathologist, you will work within a large team of Speech Pathologists and have the opportunity to be supported with structured supervisory support. Your role will entail working with a broad range of adults presenting with voice, swallowing and airways conditions, communication difficulties and cognitive-communication impairments.

Training and Development

Depending on your availability and identified needs, training and competency programs are available to support you developing skills in specialist areas such as instrumental swallowing assessments, laryngectomy care and tracheostomy management.
