About the Role

The Assistant Director role within our Corporate Procurement Team is responsible for delivering high-quality procurement and contract management outcomes.

  • Supervise a small team of procurement professionals to ensure compliance and delivery of results.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement processes, including development and review of plans, minutes, and contracts.
  • Manage the development and improvement of procurement policies and processes in consultation with stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in applying the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.
  • Proven experience undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and advising on procurement plans and contracts.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
