Leading HSEQ Excellence

As the HSEQ Systems Manager, you will oversee the strategic development and continuous improvement of our HSEQ systems, processes, and culture. You will collaborate closely with project teams, site managers, and senior leaders to ensure safety remains a top priority from tender to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain our company's HSEQ Management System, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct internal audits and prepare for external accreditations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive adherence to HSEQ legislation, codes, and company policies, fostering a culture of responsibility.
  • Design and update SWMS, procedures, policies, and toolbox talks, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and hazards, manage corrective actions, and ensure timely reporting, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Support training and onboarding of staff and subcontractors on all safety-related matters, enhancing expertise and confidence.
  • Monitor and lead digital safety platforms, leveraging technology to optimize safety performance.
  • Promote and cultivate a positive safety culture across all levels of the organization, inspiring ownership and commitment.

You will bring:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a safety leadership or systems-based HSEQ role within construction, demonstrating expertise and maturity.
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, codes, and ISO/OHS management systems, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital safety platforms and reporting tools, maximizing efficiency and impact.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in HSEQ, underpinning your professional qualifications and credentials.
