Land Use Forecaster

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Analyst to join our Economics, Population and Land Use Forecasting team.
The successful candidate will provide research and land use analysis primarily for the monitoring and forecasting of housing supply. This role will inform government decision making for infrastructure planning, service delivery and strategic planning across NSW.
The Property Research Specialist will collaborate with other parts of the division involved in precinct planning, data collection and analysis, and digital tools development. The role will utilise the latest technologies and analytical methods to further improve the Team's land use forecasting capabilities.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in economics, property, planning or a related discipline. You will also have excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, property, planning, or a related discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of strategic and statutory planning, including housing policy
