Operations Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily production and logistics at a nursery site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily production activities and assembly of customer orders.
  • Organise equipment, machinery, and staff to meet production targets.
  • Support and mentor employees, delivering on-the-job training as required.
  • Monitor and maintain quality and safety standards across operations.
  • Ensure smooth stock movement, order flow, and dispatch coordination.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and contribute to quality accreditation.
  • Liaise with managers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues effectively.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field is ideal but not essential. Strong leadership skills, excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills are also required. The candidate should be able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
