Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring timely completion of customer orders.
  • Organize equipment, machinery, and personnel to meet productivity targets.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees as required, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards across operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure smooth inventory management, order processing, and dispatch coordination, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Contribute to accurate record-keeping and quality accreditation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with managers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field (desired but not mandatory).
  • Alternatively, a proven background in bulk logistics or warehouse operations management can be considered.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards shared goals.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the capacity to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • A sound knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

This role combines leadership and hands-on responsibilities. As a supervisor, you will oversee a team, contribute to quality and safety compliance, manage inventory records, and ensure that production objectives and customer requirements are met.

While a horticulture background or qualification is highly regarded, we also welcome applications from candidates with strong experience in bulk logistics or warehouse management, as these skills are highly transferable.
