Packing Line Supervisor Job

A diverse and challenging role that involves planning, training, supervising, and overseeing the efficient operation of packing shed-machinery and computer systems during production season.

This role is accountable for ensuring production deadlines are met, monitoring output, and managing product data. It also requires setting up and operating various packing line machinery, performing fault-finding and maintenance tasks, and ensuring accurate management of packed product, wastage, and production data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and supervising packing line team members
  • Setting up and operating various packing line machinery
  • Performing fault-finding and maintenance tasks
  • Monitoring production output
  • Ensuring accurate and timely management of packed product, wastage, and production data

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role providing training and support within a production plant, mechanical aptitude, and experience in operating equipment and programming packing shed systems. They should also possess knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene standards, hold a Forklift Licence and an Open Driver's Licence, and preferably have experience using KATO 260 Grading and Curo packing systems.
