Process Operator

This role involves working in a dynamic team as part of the Deflector Processing unit. You will be responsible for leading by example and demonstrating high standards of work, reliability, safety, and housekeeping of the Gold & Copper processing plant.

You will support the Mill Shift Supervisor in monitoring and adjusting operating variables and equipment to maintain optimum output for the processing plant.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and adjusting operating variables and equipment to maintain optimum output for the processing plant
  • Operating in the assigned section of the process plant including; Flotation, Crushing, Grinding, Leaching, Dewatering and ROM pad operations
  • Maintaining reagent stock tank levels and other consumables
  • Accurately recording all relevant data on shift log sheets and shift diaries
  • Maintaining a safe work environment through high housekeeping standards, safe work procedures, incident/accident reporting and active involvement in safety programs and meetings
  • Maintaining safety equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition
  • Actively maintaining knowledge of and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices
About You
  • A strong working knowledge of gold processing environments would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in crushing and grinding circuit operation, CIL/CIP operation, or flotation would be beneficial.
  • Hold nationally recognized certification for operating loaders, skid steer, and excavators.
  • Possess a valid WA Driver's License (Manual C Class)
  • Hold a High-risk work license for Forklift
  • Hold Confined Space and Work at Heights qualification
