Job Opportunity: Process Plant Trainer

Protech Mining and Maintenance is seeking an experienced Processor Trainer for a role in a gold processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train process plant personnel to operate processing circuits including multi-stage crushing, grinding, CIL, gravity, and electro-winning circuits.
  • Develop individual training programs for OBM staff and complete Verification of Competencies (VoC) as required.
  • C coordinate both in-house and outsourced training, developing plans in consultation with production and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain training records and provide accurate monthly reports on training activities, issues, and trends.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a process operator in gold processing, including controls and gold room operations.
  • Minimum four years in a continuous process industry, with at least two years as a Process Plant Trainer (preferably in gold).
  • Proven ability to manage training contractors and staff.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Process plant start-up and commissioning experience.
  • Strong safety commitment and effective communication skills.
  • Team-building approach and excellent computer skills.
