OverviewJoin to apply for the Dispatch Operator role at GOLD FIELDS.Role Details: Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor at St Ives, you will contribute to the effective operation of the mine from a control room, provide tactical shift oversight, and execute the shift plan to improve overall production in a safe and efficient manner.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that aligns and enhances the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields with the purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.This role can be offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on a 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster.
Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.Benefits include:Private Health Insurance AllowanceQuarterly Bonus SchemeSalary sacrifice optionsIncreased annual leave entitlementsEmployee referral program - $10,000 per successful referralEmployee Assistance ProgramLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceEducational assistanceAbout the roleAssist in optimising mining activities by providing operational coordination through the effective use of the fleet management system as part of the shift management team along with production, drill & blast and Maintenance Supervisors and Leading HandsEnsure the equipment stoppages and delays are planned and coordinated to reduce impact to the production cycleCoordinate and monitor equipment operator breaks and ensure equipment is refueled and delivered for planned maintenance in accordance with shift planContribute to procedures and documentation for the safe and efficient operation of DispatchLiaise with the crew, Dispatch Technician and Supervisor to ensure that the technology infrastructure, systems and main data references are maintained and working correctlyAbout youPrevious experience in Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets in an operational context would be highly regardedPrevious experience working with Wenco, Modular, Jigsaw or MineStarValid Driver's License is mandatoryExcellent communication skills both written and oralDemonstrated high level of safety standards and work behavioursApplications can be submitted via: Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
