About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Lead for our mental health nursing team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality clinical assessment, treatment, and support to consumers. You will deliver case management using the Strengths Model and recovery-orientated approach.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage shifts to ensure the provision of high-quality consumer-focused care.
  • Provide leadership and act as a role model to staff, coordinating resource allocation on shifts to meet patient needs.
  • Assist consumers in identifying their support needs and utilizing existing networks, building new ones as required.

Requirements

">
  • Certified with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration.
  • A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in nursing meeting AHPRA Division 1 or 3 requirements, along with a current Practicing Certificate.
  • Post-registration qualification in a relevant area of specialty.
  • A minimum of two years' experience post-qualification in mental health.
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain it.
