The role involves leading the design and specification of mechanical equipment, including cranes, hoists, and load-handling systems. Effective collaboration with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams is essential to deliver impactful outcomes.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and specifying mechanical equipment
  • Analyzing load movements and dynamic behaviors
  • Preparing lift rigging and motion studies
  • Applying structural and mechanical engineering principles
  • Leading package management activities
  • Developing strong relationships with stakeholders

A successful candidate will possess a Mechanical Engineering degree and have experience in machine design, particularly in cranes, hoists, and rail-mounted equipment. Strong knowledge of structural and dynamic analysis, as well as hands-on experience preparing rigging and motion studies, is also required.
