Overview

Senior Design Engineer - Secondary (Utilities & Renewable Energy) based in Adelaide. Join Consolidated Power Projects (CPP), a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider within the Quanta Services group, delivering end-to-end design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely and accurate technical designs for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in high voltage utility and renewable sectors.
  • Produce complex internal and external secondary system design outputs and check design outputs for accuracy and constructability.
  • Collaborate with construction and operations teams to ensure designs are practical and refined through field feedback.
  • Support field staff, customers, and colleagues with design-related guidance and issues.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects.
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
