Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client-centred care within the Sexual Health and HIV service.
  • Support individuals through comprehensive screening, treatment, and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs).
  • Promote sexual wellbeing and public health throughout our community.

Requirements

  • A registered nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Agency registration.
  • A minimum 3 years post graduate experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the sensitive nature of sexual health and the importance of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated competency in venepuncture.
  • Accredited nurse immuniser or willingness to complete relevant training.
  • Demonstrated effective communication with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff.
