As a Delivery Execution Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the development and implementation of work packages within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the analysis, definition, and execution of these packages, ensuring they align with established project management practices and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute small-scale work packages and initiatives in accordance with defined project management protocols and procedures.
  • Manage backlogs effectively, guaranteeing that all features, stories, and tasks are clearly defined, validated against predetermined 'Definition of Ready' and 'Definition of Done' criteria, and dependencies are mapped accurately.
  • Evaluate new work package requests, assess resource requirements, provide recommendations on capacity needs, and liaise with stakeholders to agree on delivery timelines.
  • Address problems and issues, manage resolutions, implement corrective actions, document lessons learned, and disseminate relevant information related to the solution delivery practice.
  • Obtain input from and agreement to requirements from diverse stakeholders, negotiate competing priorities, and ensure optimal allocation of resources to deliver maximum value.
  • Maintain documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions according to departmental risk management strategies and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate quarterly planning activities, collaborate with managers and delivery teams to plan epics/features, manage resources, and ensure delivery aligns with organizational values and processes.
  • Provide periodic progress reports, identifying potential blockers, risks, and issues with work package deliverables.
  • Offer domain expertise and coaching to teams, promoting Agile and Lean behaviors, encouraging productivity, and creating an environment that enables effective delivery and enhances ways of working that embed Agile principles into product and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects across various domains with timeframe and resourcing constraints.
  • Proven ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
  • Strong experience in managing stakeholder relationships across diverse landscapes.
  • Experience in managing backlogs within Agile or Lean methodologies, preferably within Azure DevOps toolsets.
  • Experience in managing product demand and identifying resourcing requirements based on capability and capacity constraints.
