We are seeking a skilled Sterilisation Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing, sterilizing, storing and thermal disinfecting reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment.
Main Responsibilities- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control.
- Work in a fast-paced environment prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and effective patient care.
- Completion of a Certificate III in Sterilization Services at TAFE or equivalent.
- Physical capability to perform duties including standing for long periods, lifting, pushing and pulling loads.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions from line management and work independently under routine supervision.
