Job Title: Medical Instrument Specialist
">The role of the Medical Instrument Specialist involves preparing, sterilizing, and storing reusable medical instruments to prevent infection. This position is responsible for working within a team under routine supervision, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to NSW Health policy directives.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Prepare, sterilize, store, and disinfect reusable medical instruments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a dynamic team environment.
- Ensure compliance with NSW Health policies and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
">- Certificate III in Sterilization Services or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to perform tasks while standing for extended periods, lifting, pushing, and pulling loads.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and follow directions from management and senior staff.
