
Disability Support Coordinator

This full-time position involves working 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
As part of your role, you will require travel to client locations and receive reimbursement for expenses.
Your Key Responsibilities- Support participants in exploring mainstream and NDIS provider options.
- Navigate the NDIS Portal and negotiate services on behalf of participants.
- Liaise with Plan Managers regarding funding and support types.
- Link participants to community services and enhance their capacity to coordinate supports.
- Diploma or higher tertiary qualifications in disability/community services/social sciences/allied health are preferred.
- Equivalent knowledge and experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards is essential.
- Understanding of complex needs of people with disability and their families is crucial.
- Experience in developing person-centred approaches and establishing partnerships with communities is desirable.
- Flexible work arrangements.
- Comprehensive induction training.
