Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving store performance, coaching teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Drive sales growth and maintain visual merchandising standards by working closely with the Store Manager.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve outstanding results in sales and customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyse store sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage rosters and wage spend to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company targets.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to drive high morale, ongoing training, and succession planning.
  • Oversee stock levels, store presentation, shrinkage control, and operational excellence to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety policies and relevant state and national legislation.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience as a senior casual, key holder, 3IC, or supervisor in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong results in sales and KPIs.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a 'Make it Happen' mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for coaching others.
  • Operational know-how across stock management and visual merchandising.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for customer experience and working with premium product.
