Job Overview

This role is a key part of shaping our Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) culture.

You will support branches and teams across Victoria and Tasmania as a trusted business partner, focusing on effective risk management and continuous improvement in how we work.

  • Provide high level HSEQ specialist advice and support across the business, actively partnering with stakeholders to deliver improved performance.
  • Lead operational areas to ongoing enhancement of HSEQ culture and behaviours.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in HSEQ culture and systems, aligning with business-wide strategies and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-level HSEQ specialist advice and support across the business, actively partnering with stakeholders to deliver improved performance.
  • Leading operational areas to ongoing enhancement of HSEQ culture and behaviours.
  • Delivering continuous improvement in HSEQ culture and systems, aligning with business-wide strategies and projects.

The ideal candidate will be a safety professional with a high-risk background, experienced in blue-collar environments.

They should bring thorough knowledge of risk and incident management practices, a people-centric approach, and effective collaboration skills to provide practical solutions for safe outcomes.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a HSEQ role in a similar industry and risk profile.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering practical, effective, and risk-based HSEQ solutions in an operational environment.
