Job Title

We are seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the field of occupational health and safety.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and workers to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures, and provide training and coaching on health and safety best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Provide training and coaching on health and safety best practices
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with management and workers to develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of legislation, standards, and codes related to health and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
