Service Reliability Specialist

The Service Reliability Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our services. This position requires strong incident management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for driving service restoration of major incidents, managing and controlling all major incidents 24/7, 365 days a year, and ensuring any interruption of service is restored as quickly and safely as possible.
This role involves participating in reviews of process strategy, policy, standards, design, procedures, plans, work instructions, supporting systems, and tools. You will also have the opportunity to develop partnerships with internal stakeholders to cultivate trust, collaboration, and commitment in the ICT services and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in ensuring service reliability using ITIL processes.
- Drive service restoration of major incidents.
- Manage and control all major incidents (24 x 7, 365 days per year) and associated communication/escalation, manage SLAs for all incidents, and comply with Incident and Problem Processes.
- Ensure any interruption of service is restored as quickly and safely as possible.
- 3 plus years' experience in an Incident Management position.
- Ability to work in a rostered on-call environment 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Possess a practical understanding of Industry Best Practices regarding Service, Incident, Problem, Service Level, and Knowledge Management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with internal stakeholders.
- Proven strong communication skills when working with Operational groups and Customers.
