In this role, you will analyse equipment performance data, identify recurring failures, and lead defect elimination projects that improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of our mobile fleet.You will work closely with condition monitoring specialists, maintenance planners, OEM representatives, and operational leaders to implement engineering and procedural changes that reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life - ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyse mobile fleet reliability, availability, and performance trends using maintenance and condition monitoring dataLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for critical failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustainedOptimise maintenance strategies and tactics to align with OEM standards, operational needs, and historical dataDrive reliability improvement projects that increase uptime, extend component life, and reduce lifecycle costsCollaborate with planning and execution teams to validate failure modes and develop early intervention strategiesMaintain performance dashboards, reliability KPIs, and technical reports for leadership and operational decision-makingProvide engineering input into budgeting, asset lifecycle forecasts, and capital planningEnsure all reliability improvement initiatives comply with site safety, WHS, and environmental standardsABOUT YOUQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering5+ years' experience in reliability or mobile maintenance engineering (mining or heavy industry preferred)Strong understanding of RCM, FMECA, and asset management principlesExperience with mobile fleet failure modes and maintenance strategy developmentProficiency in SAP PM (or equivalent CMMS), AMT, and reliability analysis toolsCurrent WA C Class Driver's LicenceSKILLS & ATTRIBUTESStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-makingExcellent technical writing and presentation skillsAbility to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and data analytics platformsHigh attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing demandsBENEFITSPermanent full-time role with an immediate start.Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances.Receive a $12k residential allowance per annum, if you are residential and not FIFO.Receive up to $5k site allowance per annum, depending on your site location.Receive up to 10% short-term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary.A fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or allowance up to $5k.A fully covered Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance or allowance up to $2.4k.Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.Work with a team that prioritises safety.EMPLOYER QUESTIONSYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Reliability Engineer?
