Job Description

This is a hands-on mechanical engineering role where you will contribute to the design and manufacture of critical components for prototype systems.

  • Support R&D activities through mechanical engineering design and drafting
  • Manage component fabrication and acceptance
  • Maintain engineering management tools and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and technicians
  • Convert concepts into detailed prototype designs
  • Provide practical engineering input to support trials and testing

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Is proficient in multiple CAD packages
  • Can produce detailed manufacturing drawings
  • Performs finite element analysis and structural analysis
  • Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative research environment
  • A strong communicator who can challenge ideas constructively
