Water Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the delivery of a major water source project in Western Australia.
The project involves the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a seawater desalination plant at Alkimos, which will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean drinking water to millions of people each year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This will involve managing a team of experts in various fields including marine works, tunnels, seawater intake systems, reverse osmosis desalination plants, groundwater systems and drinking water storage and pump systems.
The role will also involve developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in project management, with experience of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
You will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including engineers, contractors, government officials and community groups.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will need to have a strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
