Job Title: Lead Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Lead Care Professional within our Outside School Hours Care program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and education to children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact during designated afternoons, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and engage with children, creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that fosters their growth and development.
  • Plan and implement a range of recreational and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children in our care.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner.

Key Qualifications:

  • A relevant ACECQA approved qualification and experience in a similar role within an OSHC setting would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain a positive and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and manage an education and care service.
  • Adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to children, including their developmental needs and interests.
