This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned Release Train Engineer to join our team at Talent International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the execution of the Agile Release Train against agreed Program Increment (PI) plans and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective strategies for the planning, monitoring, and reporting of agile delivery teams to deliver on the program's strategy.
- Agile Process Management: Ensure alignment of all agile teams with the agile and scrum processes, practices, patterns, and principles, and contribute to the organization's progress in agile maturity.
- Ceremonies and Coordination: Conduct complex agile ceremonies, including program increment planning, showcases or demonstrations, scrum of scrums, system demos, and retrospectives, as well as synchronization across the train and improvement planning.
- Team Objectives and Roadmaps: Drive, manage, and coordinate team objectives for the program increment, create and publish roadmaps for visibility and transparency.
- Expert Advice and Governance: Provide business-critical authoritative and expert advice to senior managers and executive-level staff to define and implement governance frameworks for the release train.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer working in a large ICT program.
- Methodologies: Experience in leading in a range of iterative, incremental, and agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan, SAFe, DevOps).
- Facilitation and Leadership: Proven facilitation and leadership skills in delivering continuous product and service delivery, utilizing demonstrated agile management practices.
- Knowledge and Understanding: Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of project best practices, as well as knowledge of new or emerging technologies and their potential value to the organization.
- Public Sector Experience: Prior public sector experience is desirable.
