About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team at Transurban. As a key member of our Customer and Billing Platform team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of releases across our platform.

As a Release Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and standardizing release processes, managing stakeholder communications, and facilitating planning and demand management. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that releases are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the Release team to ensure successful delivery of releases
  • Manage and uplift release processes across the platform, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of changes
  • Define a mutually agreeable Platform Release Strategy to ensure scalable and best-practice release practices
  • Effectively manage change into the production environment, taking account of implementation risks and the broader IT change calendar
  • Develop and manage a Platform Release calendar based on agreed program roadmaps
  • Liaise with business, customer, and technology stakeholders to ensure a customer-obsessed approach
Requirements
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve successful release outcomes
  • Strong understanding of Agile, CICD, and DevSecOps principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of technology skill sets and technical asset base
