Job Title: Water Process Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Process Planning Engineer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact on the future of our community while enjoying an incredible lifestyle in the beautiful MidCoast region.

This position will provide you with the chance to lead the planning, process design, and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing high-quality process designs, business cases, design reports, and cost estimates.

The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration skills and be able to work closely with engineers and the Water Management & Treatment department to ensure accurate system loadings and process criteria are used for existing and new systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for water and sewer infrastructure projects.
  • Process Design: Create high-quality process designs, including process flow diagrams, PFDs, and piping and instrumentation diagrams, P&IDs.
  • Business Cases: Prepare comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in water treatment and infrastructure planning, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water treatment and infrastructure planning.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
