Job Description

This exciting opportunity involves delivering high-quality speech pathology services to diverse clients, ranging from children aged 7 to adults in aged care. You will work closely with clients in their own homes or preferred environments, applying evidence-based practices to achieve holistic goals. The role requires:

  • Providing engaging and effective speech pathology services to a varied caseload.
  • Conducting assessments and interventions in client-friendly settings, aligning with the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) framework.
  • Collaborating with clients having various diagnoses and presentations under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and other government funding schemes.
  • Participating in regular supervision sessions, mentoring, and reporting to enhance clinical growth and expertise.
  • Evaluating progress and outcomes using relevant clinical assessments.
  • Contributing to team meetings to discuss client outcomes with family members and key stakeholders.
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports to inform future planning and budgeting.
  • Engaging in group and partnered case studies to build and develop clinical expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • All experience levels are welcome, including new graduates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
