This role involves developing and delivering information and advertising campaigns to support Australians exercising their right to vote. This includes communication with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As a strategic leader, you will drive the development and delivery of external communication activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You will collaborate with colleagues on targeted projects, including research, strategy, advertising campaign development, media partnerships, and community outreach.

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A broad range of experience in communication
  • An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, experiences, and communication preferences
  • Strong project management skills, including multitasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships

This position requires strong strategic thinking, creativity, and communication skills. You must be able to work well under pressure and collaborate with stakeholders.

Eligibility criteria include being an Australian citizen, not being actively involved in political affairs, and obtaining security clearances. Applicants may undergo psychometric testing as part of the recruitment process.
