Job Description

The National Indigenous Australians Agency plays a vital role in improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for driving policy development, program design, and service delivery to achieve positive outcomes for these communities.

Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional cultural capability, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders to build relationships and drive strategic priorities.

As CEO, you will lead our agency to implement the National Agreement on Closing the Gap and prioritize economic empowerment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Exceptional cultural capability and respect.
  • High-level leadership and vision.
  • Ability to manage large and/or complex operations.
