This is an exciting role with a leading alternative asset manager focused on private debt. The firm specializes in targeting mid-market companies in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- sourcing and originating senior secured, unitranche, mezzanine, and bespoke credit transactions across the Australian and New Zealand mid-market space.
- identifying and structuring investment opportunities to drive business growth.
- maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities to support strategic investment decisions.
- collaborating closely with sponsors, borrowers, and intermediaries to monitor market trends.
- 8–12 years' experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or direct lending, with a proven track record of originating and executing transactions.
- Strong relationships with sponsors, advisors, and borrowers; deep knowledge of credit underwriting, capital structures, and legal documentation.
- excellent communication skills to represent the firm externally.
