Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a leading alternative asset management role.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and originating private debt opportunities across the Australian and New Zealand mid-market space.
  • Key responsibilities include identifying and structuring senior secured, unitranche, mezzanine, and bespoke credit transactions.
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities is essential to the success of this role.
  • Candidates will work closely with sponsors, borrowers, and intermediaries, representing the firm at industry events and monitoring market trends to support strategic investment decisions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-12 years' experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, or direct lending is required.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record of originating and executing transactions.
  • Strong sponsor, advisor, and borrower relationships are essential, as well as deep knowledge of credit underwriting, capital structures, and legal documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to credibly represent the firm externally are crucial.
