Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) leader to drive our Oceania operations. As a key member of our executive team, you will oversee all SHE aspects across our facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic SHE initiatives that align with our vision, mission and values. You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practices, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SHE strategies, policies and standards that support business objectives and stakeholder expectations;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practices;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization;
  • Lead and manage safety, health and environment (SHE) programs and initiatives;
  • Maintain open communication with employees, managers, contractors, customers, suppliers, regulators and community groups;
  • Monitor and report on SHE performance, risks and opportunities;
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions as needed.

About You

We are looking for a strong leader with a history of delivering results in a high pressure and dynamic environment. To be successful in this role, you will require:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as engineering, science, occupational health and safety, environmental management or related discipline;At least 10 years of experience in SHE management, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment;Demonstrated leadership, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills;Proven ability to develop and implement SHE strategies, policies and standards that support business objectives and stakeholder expectations;Sound knowledge of SHE legislation, regulations and best practices, as well as emerging trends and issues.
