Lead Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Curriculum Development

We are seeking a talented professional to lead the development of high-quality curricula in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in a relevant field, experience in tertiary curriculum development, and a strong commitment to delivering positive social impact to Indigenous communities.

This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on healthcare education and cultural competency. You will work closely with health educators, professionals, and community partners to build capacity in culturally sensitive learning pedagogies and contribute to strategic goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curricula that incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and cultural competencies.
  • Promote cultural competency through training and education for staff and students.
  • Conduct research in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and publish findings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the field of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health education.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Experience in tertiary level curriculum development incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health perspectives and cultural competencies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with and delivering positive social impact to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
