We are seeking a wine industry expert to spearhead our front-of-house team and curate an exceptional wine list showcasing local and international producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an outstanding wine list focusing on local and international offerings.
- Oversee daily operations, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
- Lead and train a small FOH team emphasizing warm and professional service.
- Promote wine education across the team and with guests.
- Participate in the leadership team shaping the venue's culture and reputation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a sommelier or wine-focused venue manager is essential.
- Demonstrate strong wine knowledge, WSET qualifications a significant advantage.
- Display confident leadership with a customer-centric mindset.
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and a hands-on approach.
- Show passion for local producers, seasonal food, and creating memorable experiences.
