Lead Earthworks Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Earthworks Supervisor to oversee the completion of various earthworks packages, including clearing pads, top and sub soil removal, rehabilitation, and general pit and mine road construction and maintenance.

  • A high level of knowledge in civil, mining, or construction sites is essential, along with experience managing earthworks projects and mobile plant and equipment.
  • The successful candidate will have strong occupational health and safety knowledge, reliability, and flexibility to adjust to project requirements.
  • Ability to maintain positive client relationships and lead teams to complete works in accordance with work plans.
  • Other key responsibilities include planning, organising, and directing materials handling and housekeeping in a safe and cost-efficient manner, as well as leading improvements in efficiency and productivity.

Skill Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of civil, mining, or construction sites and mobile plant and equipment.
  • Experience managing earthworks packages and teams to complete works in accordance with work plans.
  • Strong occupational health and safety knowledge and ability to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Current C-class driver's license and White card/blue card.

  • Leading improvements in efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintaining positive client relationships and team development, mentoring, and management as required.

Requirements:

  • Covid vaccination certificate and Section 44 certificate.
