PhD Researcher in Green Methanol Production

Monash University is seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate to join our research team in the field of green methanol production. As a PhD researcher, you will work closely with our industry partners to develop cutting-edge technologies for sustainable energy production.
About the ProjectThis PhD project offers a unique opportunity to engage in research at the forefront of sustainable energy production. You will work on developing state-of-the-art process simulations, life cycle assessments, and emissions reports using advanced tools like the Monash Environmental Impact and Energy Assessment tool.
Key Responsibilities- Develop process simulations and life cycle assessments for green methanol production
- Conduct emissions reports and environmental impact assessments
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop sustainable energy technologies
- Present research findings to academic and industry audiences
- Master's degree in chemical engineering, sustainable energy, or a related field
- Experience in process simulation and life cycle assessment
- Proficiency in software tools like Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or DWSIM
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
As a PhD researcher at Monash University, you will receive a Research Living Allowance, indexed plus allowances as per RTP stipend scholarship conditions. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and present your research findings to academic and industry audiences.
