Client Director

We are seeking a seasoned Client Director to join our Global & Corporate segment within Aon Risk Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of clients across the Mining, Energy, Power, and Renewables industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team and portfolio of clients across the Natural Resources industry
- Design and implement retention and sales strategies to drive profitable growth
- Act as a strategic account leader for key accounts across the Australian Natural Resources team
- Drive innovation and understanding of current and future client needs in the context of market dynamics
- Identify process improvement opportunities to ensure service standards are continually exceeded
- Mobilise resources from the Aon network to deliver on client commitments
- Achieve budgeted revenue for retention and growth on existing and new business
- Provide mentorship to Aon Client Services support staff
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Aon's national natural resources team
- Strong understanding of the natural resources industry and associated risks
- Extensive experience in general insurance broking
- Excellent networking and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage both upwards and downwards, influencing and engaging with significant internal and external stakeholders
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Client and outcomes-focused
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client value through expertise and innovation
- Proven success in a leadership and people development position
- Proven commercial experience providing analysis on revenue, profit, and PTI
