Senior Governance and Assurance Professional

We are seeking a Governance and Assurance Senior Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to contribute to the development and implementation of governance processes, conduct audits, and deliver high-quality reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, with proven experience in developing and implementing governance processes, conducting audits, and delivering high-quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and documentation for the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery (Project) lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of key internal and external documentation and reports, financial approvals, and project/program submissions.
- Support critical and major projects progressing through internal and external governance and assurance.
- Conduct and manage audits, health checks, and quality reviews across asset management and capital delivery projects.
- Serve as custodian of capital project and program procedures, maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and accessible documentation, templates, and data.
- Design, deliver, and manage training programs and support for planners, project managers, and stakeholders.
About the Person:
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and organized individual with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. They will have tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Tertiary qualifications and experience required include:
- Proven experience in project management, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
- Experience facilitating workshops and delivering training to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong change management skills, with the ability to communicate with influence and build rapport.
- Experience defining and implementing project and/or program governance processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate, and solve complex problems.
