About the Role

SA Water seeks a seasoned professional to join its team as a Governance and Assurance Senior Consultant.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and implementing governance frameworks, processes, and documentation to ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.

We are seeking a collaborative and results-driven individual who can drive operational excellence and align infrastructure outcomes with our strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that enhance governance, assurance, and operational practices, leveraging industry insights and lessons learned to drive ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and documentation for the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery lifecycle.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of key internal and external documentation and reports, financial approvals, and project/program submissions.
  • Support critical and major projects progressing through internal and external governance and assurance.
  • Conduct and manage audits, health checks, and quality reviews across asset management and capital delivery projects.
  • Serve as custodian of capital project and program procedures, maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and accessible documentation, templates, and data.
  • Design, deliver, and manage training programs and support for planners, project managers, and stakeholders.
