Senior Project Planning Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead project planning across our Southern Region.

You will collaborate closely with project leadership and key stakeholders to drive planning excellence from concept through to delivery.

  • Develop and maintain Primavera P6 programs, providing cost and resource analysis, producing cash flow forecasts, and delivering schedule and risk insights.
  • Contribute to tenders, mentor team members, and support projects with forensic program analysis to protect contractual rights.

About The Role

  • Shape the success of major projects by optimising construction programs and claims processes.
  • Lead with advanced Primavera P6 expertise, applying programming skills to develop, analyse, and convert construction schedules.
  • Cultivate relationships with both pre-contracts teams and project delivery teams to impact project outcomes.
  • Drive innovation and best practice by staying ahead with the latest industry standards and technology.
  • Work independently while being part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture, or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil construction, including on-site and Pre-Contracts experience.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 skills and proven experience in construction programmes.
  • Technical know-how, lineal construction, contracts, claims, and strong IT skills.
  • Organised team player with strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
