Job Title: Senior Water Planning Engineer

">Job Description:
  • Enhance capabilities and reputation of WSP Water Group's Asset Management & Planning team.
  • Collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes.
  • Develop holistic, sustainable water resource management strategies for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations.
  • Conduct technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks to address growth, compliance, network performance improvement, and renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key technical tasks across a broad range of high-profile water infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare well-written technical reports on medium to large projects.
  • Assist in preparing proposals on medium to large projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate project team members to achieve project outcomes and meet client objectives and expectations.
  • Participate in industry associations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
  • Planning of water supply and sewerage networks and an understanding of their operation.
  • Preparing and delivering effective and engaging presentations and workshops.
  • Leading project scoping or proposal development.
  • Understanding and implementation of hydraulic principles including some experience in hydraulic modeling.
