Senior Agronomy Business Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Agronomy Business Development professional to drive business growth through expert product knowledge and agronomic support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering value-added solutions to our existing client base, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our sales and agronomic input offerings.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical and market information to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and networks to expand our presence in the agricultural sector.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices, trends, and innovations, ensuring we remain relevant in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a business development role related to agricultural chemicals and fertilizers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational, administrative, and computing skills are required, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
