Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced sales agronomist to join our team in a key region. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural practices and the ability to provide expert product knowledge to clients.

About the Opportunity:

The sales agronomist will report to the branch manager and be responsible for providing technical support to farmers and producers in the region. This includes developing relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and industry developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural trends and research
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field
  • Proven experience in a sales or agronomy role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current driver's license
