Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Track and Civil Engineer to provide technical expertise and support our business operations. This role will involve providing expert input into investigations, reviewing designs, and managing key track-related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice to maintenance, projects, design and asset management functions within the organization.
  • Contribute to the review of designs for track and civil infrastructure from internal and external sources.
  • Lead technical investigations into root causes of incidents where track or civil infrastructure is suspected to be at fault.
  • Offer input into short and long-term renewals and maintenance plans for assets.
  • Collaborate with the assets team to provide engineering advice pertaining to their discipline.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and updating all standards, manuals, specifications, technical notes and waivers within their area of expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in track, permanent way or rail geotechnical roles, preferably including a mix of project delivery, maintenance, design and asset management.
